Sarah Ash Named Ohio Player of the Year

Sarah AshThe Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association has announced their 2007 All-Ohio Team, honoring two standouts from Denison's NCAA tournament qualifying women's soccer team.

Junior forward Sarah Ash (pictured right) was named Player of the Year in the state, adding to list of honors from the season. Ash was named National Soccer Coaches Association of America/adidas Division III All-America first-team earlier in the awards season.

Senior goalkeeper Liz Gillette capped off a phenomenal four-year career by being named second team all-Ohio. She carried a 0.71 GAA throughout this season while posting ten shutouts.

The Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association is comprised of member schools from NCAA Divisions I, II and III as well as NAIA and NCCAA.
