The Big Red attempted 18 shots while the Gators attempted eight. Senior Jessie Birdwhistell and freshman Maggie Hoskin led Denison with three shots apiece. Allegheny was led by Katie Murphy and Abby Silverster who both had three shots.
The Big Red kept Gator keeper Rebecca O'Shurak busy to the tune of 11 saves in her 110 minutes. Denison keeper Liz Gillette accounted for four saves on the day.
The Big Red will be back in action on Wednesday, October 17, when they travel to Wooster for another NCAC match up at 4:00pm.
